I recall some1 saying that he had some personal issues he needed to take care of. So that's maybe the reason why he left us (hopefully only for a while). Good luck with your naners, pal. Maybe they were stopped on their way to Greece?

I've been kind of worried about Abnshrek too. He's a really nice dude and he offered twice to send me banana plants, for free.
Ilndor, he was sending me a lot of PM's. If i hear from him I'll def let you know and I'll remind him about the bananas you were supposed to get.
I hope Abnshrek is okay.

My experience with shipping via mail to Greece: after you have paid all the postage, import fees, etc. the local post office still wants the recipient to come pick up the package and they expect to receive a gratuity.

Michael is a great guy and would never deceive you Ilndor. He sent me an Ice Cream pup for free just to get me into growing edible bananas:bananas_b
I would assume he is dealing with much more important issues right now to not have mailed you the plants or that he forgot it for some reason unintentionally. I am sure he will eventually sent you your plants, just wait for him to do so.
There is also always the possibily for your plants to have been confiscated,a risk you most probably agreed to take.
Richard is correct about our customs here regarding packages declared as containing live plants, they do require you to pay a fee on the total package's price(plants + shipping price)but from what i know,if you choose a door to door shipping service, the shipping company clears the package from the airport customs(if the paperwork is correct)and you just have to pay it to the shipping company when it delivers you the package. If you sent the package by USPS or similar, the fee may have to be paid to the local post office as technically, the are not supposed to deliver parcels door to door, only letters. If they know you however and its not too big, they may deliver it to you.
If paperwork is incorrect,it takes weeks before they finally notify you by phone and you have to get to the airport and the phytopathological institute yourself to see what you can do to take it,if there is something you can do...
For the above reason, having the tracking number on hand and tracking your package frequently is advisable...If the package awaits too long to clear from customs, better get to the customs fast!!!
In Ilindor's case,i think the plants would either arrive safely or get confiscated. A fee wouldnt normally be required to be paid unless the declared price of its contents is high(i dont know exactly how much but i would guess above 50$). You may want to check with your post office if there is any parcel for you as sometimes parcel notifications are not left where they should be or not left at all......
I hope things fix for Michael and we here from him again soon!:goteam:
