These are my father-in-law's trees. They survived Hurricane Igor quite well. His bunch has about 200 bananas. I think they are Dwarf Cavendish, the flowers came out at about 6ft. Can anybody confirm they are DCs?

Well, the p-stem is fat and stocky so that means Cavendish, and it dosent look to tall so I say DC.

I vote yes!

Thanks for your replies. I thought it was a DC but I was not sure if they produced that many bananas on a bunch. We also have Gran Nain in Bermuda and I know they produce really large bunches. A farmer is going to give me a Gran Nain pup so I will be able to compare the taste and size to my DCs.

These DCs belong to my father in law and he been able to grow some nice trees. Mine end up smaller since I have not been fertilizing them. I started giving them food since I joined the forum so we will see what my next crop brings.
