Just wondering if any body has let praying hands-apple banana go dormant in the winter do they go dormant in the wild thanks for the info. i was wanting to bring some of these bananas inside for the winter. and not in pots i have to many.

They go dormant, just not in the way you think. Unlike apples, nut trees, etc which lose their leaves when dormant, bananas enter something akin to stasis. They keep their leaves, but the metabolism and growth rate slow down, and or come to a halt, somewhere, supposedly, around 50/55F.

They should do fine in my house dormant keeping them in a cool room.
