I looked at a new leaf today and I noticed it had a variegated patch on it. I was wondering if its just a mutation or maybe another type of banana. I've never seen it before. Here are some pictures

Looks like a mutation. This is relatively common from tissue culture.

Thanks Gabe I'm so relieved that it wasnt something bad. I thought it was some type of virus or nutrient deficiency. It would be nice if all the leaves could do that. Thanks again

I have a Dwarf Namwah that occasionally does the same thing.

Is it just one leaf on your Dwarf Namwah or is it starting to develop new variegated leaves? I hope this isn't the only variegated leaf but it probably will be lol
