Hi every one. I'm in the hospital. I've been here for week. The doctors have found two growths. One in my left lung, the other in the airway. So far no tests have come back cancerous. They did a biopsy on Friday, I haven't gotten the results back yet. Please keep me in your prayers. I would like that alot. I'll try to keep you all informed. I'm posting from my friends iPhone. Please pray for me.
Thanks,
Greg

He also said that a person with this type of cancer , only live six months and its all ready a year for me. He says im doing great for the type of cancer I have. Dear Greg,

You & your family have been continually in our prayers here since you began this walk with cancer...
You have overcome odds that were so negatively stacked against you, there is definitely a strong spirit that has carried you through this!

My Mother has overcome Type 3 aggressive cancer w/metastasis to the lymph nodes - she is now an 11 year survivor and also...
My Father has Type 4 metastatic head & neck cancer and it has been a year & he is back working at the fabulously young age of 72.
Both have had aggressive radiation & initial & ongoing oral chemo.
Modern medicine is an Awesome things & there are new treatments everyday!!

He told me that he did not expect me to live two weeks after he told me a year ago I had cancer. He also said that a person with this type of cancer , only live six months and its all ready a year for me.
There are strength in numbers & we stand with you & for you against any negativity regarding this cancer.
You have done so well & we will continue in this spirit of positivity!!

Much Love & Many Prayers Greg, ~Cheryl & Family

Good afternoon Greg,

"God's strength is made perfect in weakness." I think it means our weakness. I pray that God's strength will be made apparent in your weakness.

Best wishes,

Greg- I have a sister who has had 5 years since her stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis. Chemo and a really positive attitude have brought her far. I will continue to have you in my prayers.

Sent you a PM.

Your really cool and I just know your going to get well. Doctors are always learning new ways to fight cancer so never quit hoping. I know that people get well sometimes even when the doctor says they wont. =)

greg..i too add my love to you..
one thing i have gleaned from you very appreciated
daily meditations..is that we are more than what we know..
i grew up in south dakota.unlike most of the people in rapid city
i felt a kinship to the lakota culture.. im way to white..LOL
their spirituality, outlook on life,we are but caretakers of earth..
your posts took me back to so many of my experiences talking to
native people while growing up..
thanks..
i give you back that same blessing greg.. what you have given so many of
us..
you be strong.. hold to your beliefs..loves..important things in your life..
family..friends.. and know that a ton of those friends are right here!!!

Greg I'll be praying for you.. sorry I missed this before.. I'll tell ya my Uncle lived 15 yrs after a Dr said he had 3 months (he had Lymphoma) every time I saw him I'd ask how he was doin he'd always say "Fantastic for a dead man!!" with a big smile on his face..
Keep positive!!!! Prove to those Drs that they don't know every thing!!! God will call ya when he's ready for ya and not a second sooner!!! He is more in the know than them Drs are.. ;)
My thoughts and prayers with you!! :)

Greg, it's been 11 years for me. Still kicking and will struggle to do so for many more moons. Healing is mostly in the head, we have to trust the drs, and they try to do their best but you know as well as I that we all have that final day and when it comes make sure before hand that you are ready. I'm not, but am working on it. Hope that God lets me hang in there until I'm spiritually ready. We all have a big family out there but sometimes we just don't know it. Take care.
