Hello.
I have a Muse that I bought in a garden center with the label ' Dwarf muse '. It was in the section of indoor plants.

It has happened two winters in the field (9b, humid, cloudy and slightly warm) with something of protection.
Now it measures 1,40 m. From the soil to the top of the leaves.
It has not bloomed.

He would be grateful for you if someone could identify her.

Good afternoon Julio,

Great pictures of Leaves, petioles, pseudostem, and pseudostem arrangement,
but I am not sure about this Musa. In Europe Ya'll have many seedling cultivars and variation we do not have in the United States, or at least South Florida. It does look like one that is worth your growing efforts.

Good weather and Good Growing to you Julio! :2239:

Looks like an ornamental, my guess is a Musa ornata type because of the upright leaves, and hue.

Thanks coast crab and Tropicallvr.
:)
I think I'll have to wait for it to flourish, to know for sure.

If it has a pink flower-nanners then its Musa Velutina. Looks alittle different then mine but pictures are hard to tell. Musa Ornata has a purple color looking bloom and no nanners. Wish you lived in the country I would trade ya BB for a pup. :)

Good luck.

Thanks for the offer!
If it is a Veluntina I know there are plenty of folks on this island with it.

Yes, it seems like a velutina and is beginning to flourish.
