This first pic was from April..i think
The second pic is from today...

There is EVERYTHING in there... basjoos, SDCs, sikkimensis, castor bean, pumpkin, dahlias, BRUSSEL SPROUTS!, marigolds... The castor bean (hard to see) is almost as tall as the basjoos.

Plums... Alderman is the big one, and then there is an Imperial Epineuse and a Superior plum (VERY GOOD!)... I'm getting rid of the Imperial...its doing fine and flowered this year, but i have no pollinator for it and its too packed in there... I'm also growing a 200 pound watermelon (or so i think...my wife says it'll be a big cucumber)

Superior plums

If i count pups, i bet there are over 50 bananas in the yard... I better not need anymore!

Bah....you can never have too many!!! Do you NEED more? Probably not. Should you WANT more!? ABSOLUTELY!

I only count 3-4 mats.....CLEARLY not enough! :ha::ha::ha:

Wonderful front yard; the envy of all the neighbors. A beautiful example of what can be done even in the northern reaches. Good job, Frank.
