I have 2 banana plants that are going to bloom soon what i was wondering should i pot them up before they bloom so i can bring them inside when it gets cold or should i try to protect them i can put greenhouse over one and make a make shift greenhouse over the other one. one of them is my cali gold the other is dwarfcavendish. if my memory serves me right i have seen snow cali gold bananas in a picture if someone could give some info i would appreciate it.

Well, that's kind of a difficult situation. I would air on the side of the greenhouse option. Digging them now would remove large amounts of their root system and would likely impact the fruit development. IMO, your best bet would be to put the greenhouse over them and if it gets really cold, try to find a way to heat it (space heater or something).

Eh, no harm in getting additional opinions on a given situation! That's how I look at it anyway!

Well test the space heater first make sure its on the money. I think the big outdoor lights would work better than the small christmas lights (more heat, better wiring). With heat on the inside, the snow on the outside wouldn't be anything but insulation. :^)

Go with what LilRaverBoi said. Disturbing now will screw up fruiting.
