I know its small and that will make it harder to tell. I bought this as a Musa Sikkimensis "red tiger" but im begining to think it looks like an ensete ventricosum. What do you guys think???

Ensete Ventricosum, hands down. Definitely not a musa at all. Easiest way to tell ensetes from musas (IMO anyway) is the general leafing structure. Musas send one leaf at a time, which comes out of the last leaf's petiole. Ensetes send new leaves from the inside of the pstem (as in the pic).

Natej740,

It's an Ensete. You might be able to post a trade with someone on the site. I'm sure someone with a few sikkimensis would like to get an Ensete that is not too big, and looks that good! :2239:
