Hey...the summer doesn't last long up here !!
I've been cleaning up my wood cutting area
Started cutting up odds & ends & stacking it
Neighbors tree dies so I started limbing that & tossed them in the truck
Then drove the truck into the back yard to unload & chop up
I use my sawzall when I'm up in the tree to limb everything
Easier to use then my chainsaw - Husqy 570

Out back I use a hatchet & an axe on most of the stuff
Then the sawzall for bigger stuff & the chainsaw for the biggest
I have about 4-5 dead trees around I am going to chop up for the winter <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Usually I start cutting in March
But this year I've been working on the yard
Built a patio, then a frame for the screenhouse
Big improvement to the pool area
So thru the summer if we have some cool weather I'll be cutting, splitting & stacking wood

I'll be doing the same thing once my foot is ready to go.. Its a pain without toting around any more poundage.. The front yard will get cleared in the months to come. Your right you have done some great things in the last couple months to your place. :^)

Thanks
This is the 1st year where I feel the back yard & pool area are looking good
I still have more to do: ponds, finish bar, a few odds & ends on patios, & the pergola over the picnic table

But the warm tub/small deck & the new patio & screenhouse have really made an improvement
Plus getting the last pile of wood to burn out of the garden area

San Diego, CA ? You're kidding ?
With solar heat I had the ~19,000g inground pool up to 76 by Memorial Day

Dave, you need a log splitter. Mike has a used one & we have enough split logs to heat our houses for 2 years years LOL. It's a real time saver.
Hey Joan, we are gonna real hot & humid now till Monday...I wish I had a pool!!!
