Hi.
With themperatures raising here in Rome, my 'nanas are boosting with activity... growing bigger, pull out new leafs and... new pups!!

Here's my Orinoco(or "comune di Sicilia" I still don't know) with a pup just raised from the ground:

And finally my newly arrived super Dwarf from Germany:

The super dwarf is a bit twisted, maybe it was a pup itself....

Another pup from "comune di sicilia " emerged from ground yesterday..... both seems swords.

The almost unbearable temperatures of the last few days are greatly appreciated by the 'nanas.... the increased the foliage growth from 1 leave every week to 1 every 4-5 days.... and pups are getting out off the ground almost from every 'nana I have....

Yesterday , 35 degrees celsius and 65% of hydration in the air at 14.00 and 23 celsius with 92% of hydration in the night.....
This morning at 7.00am there was a huge cloud of hydration all over Rome and the surroundings that obsucred the sun for over an hour....

Yesterday I separated another pup from the "comune di sicilia" that was 60 cm tall but as much as the other one I sent to Dalmatiansoap, I noticed that those swords have almost non existent roots.... This one has only a tiny one while the other has three.... is it normal ?

I put it in a pot just like the other one that in one week pulled out some more roots, but I supposed that swords should have a big root system on its own...

Those that I could see were definitely not sworp pups and were still quite small to have some extensive root systems.

I'm referring to them:

The one I've separated yesterday is bigger than this one I sent to dalmatiansoap.

Aren't them swoards pup ?

An explosion of pups from the musella lasiocarpa..... some seems to sprout directly from inside the mother... I don't know how to separate them without harming the mother...

And finally pups from my "comune di Sicilia" ... strangely theese two in the pics seem not to grow anymore from at least two months.... the other ones I sent abroad grow very quickly, instead theese one stopped in that form from a lot of time..... is it normal ?

Hi Linda, yes it is, but I took it inside , because it has not recovered so fast as the blue java and I feared that autumn's winds and rain could affect its health too..... so now the Mannii is enjoying a good place in front of a window exposed to the sun in a warm room.... I hope it wil send up a cigar leaf soon
