I will be away for a week and will rely on my sprinkler system.
Am setting up special watering for the bananas but since they share the timer for the lawn I cant water everyday but more like eery second.
How much water for a banana plant (4-6 feet) should I calculate per watering?
It is north Texas so temp will be 90-100...

I was thinking two gallons every two days. Too much or too little
?

It's been in 90s here too and I haven't waterd the plants for like... 5 days. 2 gallons will definitely keep it alive for a week. But if I can advise something; irrigate in the morning, not the afternoon. That way I usually achieve better results.
Wait for some other opinions too. ;)

Depending on your soil and you watering your grass and how established your roots maybe I'd say a gallon should be plenty, unless you have excellent draining soil then stick with your plan.

mine get 5 gallons per day + sprinkler action in early morning, but it all depends on your soil characteristics.

I have a drip system on mine with 1 gph emitters. I give each plant about 2 gallons per day, but it is also 105F with 10% humidity here. Drip comes on at 6am
