Ive busted it chewing up the new leafs before they emerge..

Its a flying bug. If it sees you move close it will to the opposite side. I found one trying to eat my next ice cream leaf.. Lil guy flew off.. Here is the Spanish Dagger where they are all over the leaves.

It wasnt on page 6.. I saw something very similar on the link brent loaded on the another thread yesterdayhttp://www.bananas.org/f310/yellow-stripes-my-ice-cream-banana-11938.html
but it had lighter almost clear wings where mine look dark..
I think it is called a sharpshooter--I have seen them on my bananas squirting out juice as fast as the could process it.

It's a dangerous pest for plants. One of the reasons for having a permit to ship plants (a nursery stock certificate) is to verify that your shipments will not contain the GWS.
