I picked up some of those from rareseeds.com to plant this year. Mine took a couple of weeks to get going. I even sanded the seed coat and soaked them overnight before planting. I did end up with a fairly good germination rate out of them. I hope they will produce some seeds for me, the aren't supposed to set seeds with the long days at northern latitudes. Let me know if you have any luck with them.

This was my 1st time with these seeds, didn't know how to do it, so I just left them in a bowl of water for about 10 days. Once I saw that the outer layer on the seeds started to look weird, I drained the water, and left a deeply soaked paper towel draping over the seeds. In just about 2 days, I saw germination. Once in the pots, they started growing real fast, the difference day to day is amazing. Good luck to you too. I've never eaten anything out of this vine, have you?

I was thinking of growing those. They are very high in protein, by that I mean more than most beans.

I'll pot them up individually today. I hope each to a 5-gallon pot is enough real estate for them to thrive.
