I have a Giant white calla lily and some other of the small variety and I've noticed they are rotting from the bottom of the leaves in ward. From what I read on other sites- it's called "bacterial soft rot"
I wanted to know what I should do- My current plan was to dig up the entire giant calla, cut off any visible disease and relocate, after dusting with fungicide. From what I've read, from there I can Never plant certian plants in the same location for a long time.

Anyone have any experience with fighting "bacterial soft rot"?

I am sure you probably read this already

Yeah a lot of the sites I found said that once they have it, give up hope of survival. But yesterday I dug them up sprayed the dirt off- dipped in Bleach/Water, and planted in pots- I'll keep an eye out to see any signs of the rot returning.

The question now is, what can I plant where they were, that won't be effected?
