Simple really, ive read quite a few testimonials about how to germinate these seeds. About 50% of them say to cold stratify em at 5-10C for about a month. Can anyone here corraborate that?

Thanks

I can't.. I just trimmed to thin the shell casing and they are germinating.. This also is working for Ensete V. :^)

I bought 5 seeds thru ebay from a lady in B.C. I put the seeds in the fridge for a few weeks just because I read to do so and then planted them at room temp(warm days, cool nights) Of the five seeds 1 germinated the first week and the rest never did.I think I did well cosidering these to be one of the harder ones to germinate. This was 2 yrs ago and this winter Ill be leaving it outside for the first time!!!

Well my seeds look like something ate them and they are hollow.. Not from where I trimmed them either.. Oh well I still have the EV's. I wish you all luck though :^)
