Patty -- how would you like to find this fat guy in your trap? Assuming you had a trap big enough. Seventy Five Lbs?!!!

Looks like a Fur Coat after swimming lessons to me, or 4 Daniel Boone hats for sure (3 w/o tails) :^)

RIP

PALMERTON, Pa. -- What was billed as the world's heaviest raccoon has died.

Bandit tipped the scales at nearly 75 pounds -- three times the average for his breed.

He'd been the pet of Deborah Klitsch of Palmerton, Pennsylvania.

Bandit was born with a bad thyroid gland. When he hit 52 and a half pounds in 1999, his girth garnered him a spot in Guinness Book of World Records.

The junk-food crazed raccoon hunted down chips and cheese curls, Froot Loops and french fries. He was a regular at Ice Cream World, where he would sit in Klitsch's SUV, hold a cup of blue raspberry Slush with his paws and drink it through a straw.

Yeah, something tells me hypothyroidism wasn't his only reason for being so large.

Yeah, something tells me hypothyroidism wasn't his only reason for being so large.

He ate more than garden veggies to get that fat. I had one around that size here about 20 years ago. I thought it was a big dog when I first saw it. He had about a dozen females with him. They each had young, half grown baby coons as well. I had to declare war on them. They were distroying everything. It took me over 2 weeks to kill off most of them, but not before they put me OUT of business!

At that time, I was the "Fancy Fowl & Feather Farm". I raised & sold 32 breads of exotic poultry and hatching eggs. They killed or injured almost everything I had in the 2 weeks before I got the "Big Bad Boy". The few coons that were still alive went elsewhere to find their food after that.

And I used to think racoons were so cute.....

I did too! All baby animals are cute.
Hope all that rain & floods didn't affect you Tony. If the coons didn't get your fowl, the floods woulda.
