My friend needs this Banana ID'd. Its growing in South FL
We think it may be a musa brazlian?

Kind of a weird angle, but looks like 'Manzano'. If you can, post another photo from further away... in an angle and orientation as if you were looking up at it from ~10ft away. It is also a little young, but if its 'Manzano' it will be become more obvious as the bunch matures. The bud shape and color are wrong for 'Brazilian', but right for 'Manzano' at this stage.

As the fruit starts to plump up and fill out, look for this distinctive slight bumpy/lumpy texture which I have seen on nearly all Silk subgroup cultivars that I have seen (of which 'Manzano' is included).

Manzano also have a thin red stripe laterally along the leaf length.

I can tell you mine's red alright.. If it were more red I'd think it was a siam ruby :^)
