I can't imagine getting much fruit of decent quality from a bonsai white sapote. I know there are larger, but the largest trees I've seen were about 30' tall with a trunk about 2' in diameter. And I've read of a single tree that produced over 6,000 pounds of fruit in one year. I've got mine in an area where I can tolerate a slimy mess on the ground for unharvested fruit.

You're welcome! All my white sapotes have really enjoyed the weather this year. My nursery stock of them has sold well too, so I just ordered some more.

It was molting .Look how much it's grown in a month. The Swallowtail butterfly is laying eggs on it. I'll collect the caterpillars .

Yes. I wouldn't use it on edibles. It's Agri-Fos from Monterey Gardens (http://www.montereylawngarden.com/products/diseases/) Brand.

Personally, I think the non-systemic product Liqui-Cop works better and can be used on all plants if the directions are followed.

I don't carry the Agri-Fos, and at present I'm out of stock of Liqui-Cop. Many nurseries (not box stores) carry it though.

Would the ligui-cop work for dipping cuttings as well as a spray for damping off ?

I've never used it in as dip, instead I use seaweed extract. A damping off spray, yes. I'd need to check the "booklet" on the back of the bottle to see if there is a dosage for dipping cuttings.
