I have a Dwarf Cavendish and it is funny about being outdoors. If I put it outside in the sun and in the rain because of being in East Tennessee it rains alot this time of the year, it doesn't seem to happy about it. I've had it outside for just 2 days and it rained briefly a few times. But if I bring it indoors with lower light and supplement the light artificially it seems happier. Is this strange or what???

It might just be going through a transition phase. In my experience, it's typical for bananas to grow funny (or not much at all) when you significantly change their growing conditions by moving them indoors or outdoors. It's just a little bit of shock to the plant, I'm sure. I mean, we're used to breathing about 21% oxygen in the air...if we suddenly are breathing 100% oxygen, it makes you feel kinda funny. Same thing, just with plants and involving light/heat/humidity variations.
I would just leave em out there and I'm sure they'll adapt in a few weeks and be growing like crazy in no time at all!

I'll try to put it back out and see what it does.

It seems to have adapted faster than I thought. I looked out the leaves were greener and a leaf opened up. I've got the pineapple out there too.
