Yuck! Are they sucking sap or what? Do you know what they are? What are you using to get rid of them?

I'm pretty sure there just aphids. Easy to control with a little neem oil or soapy water.

Yea, looks like some kind of aphid colony on your banana plant.

They come in several different colors depending on age,type of aphid. Spray bottle with dawn soap/ water will kill them. Ants will eat them as well. Spray them with the hose.

The "clear" one in the photo is probably a cast off skin from a moult. As they grow, their outer exoskeleton can only stretch so far, so they, like caterpillars, shed the old skin for a new one growing underneath.
