What is a good low for these potted banana's to leave them outside at night..2 namwah's about 3ft, I ice cream about 4ft and 1 Raj about 3 ft. Thanks I am getting temps in the low 40's to 50's at night here in WIsconsin and putting them inside at night..thanks

For most all banana varieties, I go by the low 40's rule. I bring them in or protect them (if planted) when temps dip into the 30's (and definitely if frost is predicted). I had my Ice Cream, Siam Ruby, Ensete Maurelii and Super Dwarf Cavendish all out at nights last fall where it dipped to 42 or 41 F and none of them had any damage or showed any signs of issues. So yeah, 40 tends to be my 'cut-off' to bringing things in....maybe other people go by different rules, but 40 works well for me.

I think bryan hit it pretty close to dead on. You start messing w/ 37-38F you have a good chance of frost & then its not very pretty. :^)

Yeah i had to work a 16hr day last weekend and didnt know it was supposed to get cold that night(It was 85* the day before) and it dipped down to 38 and my Super Dwarf Cavendish and Siam Ruby got cold damaged. Good news was none of the others(Thai Black, Ensete Maurelii, Basjoos and Musa Sikkimensis) were affected by it though.
