I couldnt help myself to get involte in TC one way or another and as it was too late for me to start from beginning this year I started my TC episode somewhere from the middle and now whan the first resoults are here, its time for sharing:ha:
So after reciving tinny TC plantlets in a plastic bag my first impressions where something like "mission impossible":ha:
http://i730.photobucket.com/albums/ww305/dalmatiansoap/AF061-2.jpg
Second step was washing and "decontaminating" plantlets from TC medium
and bacterial infection preventions :)

http://i730.photobucket.com/albums/ww305/dalmatiansoap/AF082-1.jpg
Next step, right after convinceing myself that this isnt just another wasting of time and energy:ha:, was planting plantlets in comunity pot, under plastic "bell" for better humidity and lower chanches of bacterial or any other infection

Time for a neeeeeeeeew big garden.

Hi,
this is interesting. Congratulations for your success! I also will perhaps try to do, but I must stay in Brazil for long time to do it. Perhaps I will take one sabbat year, then I will stay 2 times for 6 months in Brazil. I know that one micropropagation experiment in Brazil will take more time than 4 weeks. I'm working in trying to get one sabbat year.
Best wishes
Joachim

To bump this up a bit,
here few pics of two plants I still have of this group. They should be Daijao species but maybe some ID experts can help me if plants looks like something else or just what genome type they might be. I didnt see any plants so fare with so yellow stems.

It's been a few years, How about an update? Did you ever get any fruit? Have they even survived? Did you try again?
Would love to hear. I also would like to ask... What did you soak the TC plantlets in that turned that milky color? was that just water and how long did you soak them?

Yes it fruited for two times. Bad timing so I didnt get the chance to taste them becouse of winter rot.
They were soaked in sulphure solution to prevent funghal infections.

Any new photos of the fruit, flowers, or plants? And did you ever find out the variety? I know you had a name, but it was not something I'd heard of. Is there a more common name?
What did the fruit look like? Were they large or small?
Thanks! Glad to hear they have survived! Have you tried keeping any in pots and bringing them in when it gets cold to keep fruit growing?
