Here it is this morning hanging out with it's big friend Pisang Klotek! I'll leave it potted for about a month to regain it's strength before going in the ground where the Nam Wah is. I think that will be the best spot for it.

I'll do my best to get it growing and share pups with the board next year, and you'll be the first to receive some fruit about 2 years from now! :bananas_b

Glad it made it ok Mitchel and the dogs approve too ( give them hugs for me). In a couple of years if you get fruit ... I'll be on the next plane ( like i need an excuse:ha:) I think the former Nam Wah spot is just the place. Glad to hear that you'll share pups with others too... that's more the point. With a bit of time and effort we can get this cultivar to all who can grow it... one pup at a time:ha:

Congrats, Mitchel. I've got one but haven't planted it out yet as our nights are still pretty cool, I'll probably wait another week or two. It's about the same size of yours but already has a tiny pup. :)

I've got one also. I think it's from the same source. It will be interesting to see how they do in different areas.

I think that's great. The true kindred spirit of banana growers in action. :^)
