View Full Version : TO water or Not to water in winter

Hi all if the plants are left outside should I water them ?
If they are indoors in pots again should i or shouldnt i ?
Just questions in fighting with my plants are starting to get mushy and brown in color so Major help is needed Tammy

Very little water is needed during the winter. I overwatered a few of mine last year while indoors and they all rotted come spring time. So my suggestion is to water very lightly, when the soil is completely dry then give it some water but I wouldn't recommend more than that.

growing in water is much differant then standing in water...standing in soaking soil wet feet = rot..

Are they sitting in water logged soil? What's your soil mix? Brown & mushy isn't good.
