Just practicing my poi. I have a festival that I attend every year where I perform for about 900 people, so I'm just working on my moves. It's in two weeks, so I have to get my game-face on so I can do all this with FIRE. Let me know what you think!
(turn up volume for sound...it's kinda soft)

LMFAO!

I do a lot of different things, actually. I'm really good with fire, UV poi or UV flag spinning, LED poi, glowsticking and I also dabble with contact juggling, devilsticks, ropedart, orbits and a tiny bit of staff spinning. I'm kind of a circus freak, I know, but it's fun.

LOL nope! Oddly enough, spinning poi is like meditating...its very healing, makes your mind focus on everything and nothing all at once and takes you to a very grounded, zen-like point of deep relaxation (believe it or not). So I really don't get nervous doing it to be honest. I perform every year at a big block party for over 10,000 people and the energy of the crowd actually fuels me to do better. It's always a blast to pick someone out from the front row, get close to them, stare into their eyes while the flames whirl around you, give them a big grin then move on. It makes them a part of the performance and creates a unique experience for them.

LOL....nah, I think you'd be surprised what you could learn with a little practice/guidance! I'm 99% self-taught if that tells you anything.
