Tremeres are not that rare in southern California, are they?

I was praying for all of you out there after my told me about where it was. I was in Oceanside several years back during lunch sitting in the car Chillin' when the back bumper started going up & down like someone was messin' with me.. come to realize it was a tremor. I hope everyone there is ok & can recover quickly from what damage may have occurred :^)

It seems like there wasnt too much damage thankfully. But its a reminder that California better be prepared for the worst just in case. Im sure people probably start to get nervous when they see so many earthquakes impacting the same region in such a short period of time.
I hope California stays safe and that these earthquakes arent a sign of something larger to come.
Good luck!

I'm sorry to say -- in a way...that I feel lucky to have witnessed a earthquake here. I don't remember exactly where 'actual' was (south of here), but it happened about 2 am.
I was at a friends' house overnight, just S.W. of MKE, & got up to use the bathroom & stopped in kitchen to have 1/2 cig. I never do that -- always sleep night thru. Glasses started rattling & the floor was vibrating. Woke me up big time but I thought, maybe a BIG truck went thru? I didn't know WHAT this was. Next day they said there was a quake & that MKE felt some effects. No one I know felt it cuz they were all sleeping!!

Hope it quiets down! Thank you for posting, I look here to see what's going on with everyone before I even listen to the news usually. California is such a beautiful state from top to bottom and side to side with so much wonderful weather that it's such a bummer to have it marred by earthquake problems.
Take care!
