This is a pretty showing and unsual plant- I was wondering if anyone else had experience with it:
PlantFiles: Detailed information on Manfreda X Mangave 'Macho Mocha' (http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/128744/)

I got this late last year it did alright and the roots are now re-sprouting now after the wettest and coldest winter we've ever had here. It's suposed to grow very fast and pup a lot- I can't wait to see what it does.

I found a nice article on it's origins-
'Macho Mocha' -- the only thing people can agree on is that it is beautiful - Fresh Dirt - Sunset.com (http://freshdirt.sunset.com/2008/10/macho-mocha---.html)
I also read that the color gets more intense with drought stress and cold. Nice results from neglect.
