Hi everybody

My name is Yadake and I live in the netherlands zone 7b.
since a few years I try to germenate seed of some banana trees.
I sow 20 or so and get 1or2 plants what am I doing wrong?
Do you have better results then this?
please let me know

Welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy it here and learn a lot. Some varieties of bananas are notoriously difficult to germinate (and banana seeds overall are harder than most seeds IMO). They like warmth (some varieties need cycles of warm/cool) and high humidity. You'll find plenty of seed germination information in the banana seed germination forum (http://www.bananas.org/f30/).

You're not doing anything wron g per definition, low germination ratea, unfortunately as they are, are completely normal in banana sowing.
