Just registered
I recently set some chinese yellow banana for germination-placed them in ziploc bags with promix one month ago.One seed sprouted -tiny roots with one inch long by 1/8 diameter sprout(I think)Kindly let me know 'what's the next step

Hello & Welcome from the Sportsman's Paradise :^) Jananas in Austin was most recent to sprout seeds. You can search threads on here: potting, soils, fertilizer, germination, and such. I don't do seeds for banana's wish I could help more.. Good Luck :^)

Welcome to the org! Once it has sprouted you can pot it up into a small pot (say 3-4") and let it grow some more.

Welcome to the site! Enjoy it here! Plant your seedling in well-draining soil and water when it gets dry. That should keep you going for a while. Best of luck!
Welcome aboard from New Jersey. Having been succesful getting some to sprout puts you in the top percentage of growers already!:woohoonaner: It's not always that easy. Be sure to check out the entire site including the seed germination forum. You can always ask here as well. Congrats on your early success.

Good evening Ralrav, and Welcome to Bananas dot org, from the Sunshine State!!
As Bananaman88 said plant it in a small pot 3 to 4 inches. Use a good potting soil high in organic material. When the roots fill the pot, step it up to a larger pot.
