Drat.
Sorry about this folks - we're still having technical difficulties. With all luck I'll have it straightened out by Monday.

My link works, rather than the first link which renders "404 Not Found". Either way, the PDF doesn't open so there is no point in downloading it right now.
I'm sure Beth has it all under control!

I'm working on it, I promise. Aaargh! I so wanted this one to be done with.

Beth changed her link, Randy. The original link she posted didn't work. The one I posted did. She put the corrected link that I posted in her post.
Please stop the nonsense. After all, "I promise not to interfere with any post you have placed on this board in the future!!!"

Randy, I corrected the link as soon as I saw your comment about it not working. It should go to the issues page. But, as Taylor points out, that's a moot point until I get the PDFs back working.
Stupid cross-platform nonsense. If I wasn't forced to use weenix boxes to upload these problems wouldn't be happening.

What is your cross-platform problem, Beth? Mac <=> Win?

Thanks for your continued hard work, Beth. I was going to try to put it up for you, but never heard back from you.

Yes, Jack, I use Macs (lovely, trouble-free Macs) and all cafes use Windows (weenix) boxes. My sticks have issues with that. I've wasted a CD on this now, and on Monday when the reliable connections reopen I'll go fix the error. (This is a Catholic country, and they take the sabbath seriously here. Nothing is open on Sundays.)
Ante: Yes, in March Issue 1 of Volume 2 will go to presses.

Your sticks? Mac issue? It's only in formatting Beth, why don't you buy a "cheap stick" formatted with something that can handle both Win and Mac? Or use emulator... But why would someone voluntarily work with Mac? It's so limiting (believe it or not, even more than Windows), if I were to use UNIX based platform, it would be Linux. That's a big IF, 'cause my school requires me to use Windows. :P

Greg, have you paid for a subscription? If so, you should have gotten a password emailed to you to unlock the current issue. I do know Lorax was having some issues with it but was hoping to have it straightened out today! I have not checked to see if it is ready, but I assumed she would let everyone know when it is!
BTW, if you have not subscribed to the emag, and sounds like mag starting next issue, here is a link to show you what you have to do...

Jack, if you want to do the complete graphic layout of a magazine, you donīt use Linux. Mac is excellent as far as graphic design and layout goes. Weenix just sucks, no matter how you look at it. I have no issues with my programs, and what I use are cheap sticks. The isssue is with the crudtacular weenix boxes at the cafes, which more often than not are suffering from viral issues. That was my problem, as far as I can tell; I'm in the process of fixing it as I type this.

Agreed, Mac's good for graphics. Well good luck with Wienix (yeah, I know).

Weenix makes the snow weasels cringe in terror, yes. For this reason, the technical problem is still not quite fixed. I will update you all as soon as I have more news to share.

Nope, Greg, if you've paid for Volume 1, you don't have to pay again. I think (fingers crossed) that I've got the technical problem dealt with. Will report soonly.

Oh, just a thought I had...is there any way we can add the 'cultivars in profile' articles to the wiki pages? It just seems like an easy way to add well-written, informative text to the wiki to help grow its resourcefulness. Again, merely a thought/suggestion.
