Cut down just before "Frost Week" the Goldfinger are ripening fast and I ate 6 so far today. Wife 1. Dog 1. I may just take 2 more hands and sell the rest to the local farm market.

Beautiful! They certainly deserve to be photographed with the silver and did those yellow roses come from your yard also?? Really nice!

CC,

The roses are silk. Believe me no one has anything but dead roses on the bush outdoors in this part of Florida. My wife's cousin said they had a short frost in Homestead one night -- hard to believe. Homestead is rated just about full tropical.

The bananas taste good too - a bit tart like apple naners when early ripe to sweet later on. Bananas Foster are on the menu soon. Gotta buy another bottle of dark rum -- yum yum rum!
