I know this thread could go many directions, but just want to keep this simple.

We all know the best gifts in life are not material things, and sometimes things you cant really even "give", but this thread is just for the small holiday presents that were given to us by those who know us, and love us, and things that brought smiles to our faces on Christmas morning, or whatever holiday you happen to celebrate, or, for just the sheer sake of the good will of giving/ receiving gifts. So.. This thread is for everyone to share the gift that brought that smile to their face & that warmth to their heart. With that said, here is my most prized present this holiday season:

Happy Holidays everyone! May peace, joy, happiness, love, and prosperity be with you today, and throughout the coming year! :nanadrink:

EDIT: I think I should also mention that this gift is from my partner who, in spite of plant craziness, sticks by me! He has been the best, on so many levels!

the best gift i got this year was from a person i painted a picture for. She was so surprised and even shed a few tears. i felt that i had pegged it right on. she shared my gift with others that i work with and i got 7 commissions for new work. which means at least for Jan i will finally have some money for the first time sines my cut back at strabucks. it was just a gift from my hart i love this coworker we share many of the same views on life.

as far as gifts that i personally receive my life partner gave me a new set of watercolors of exceptional quality that i could never have afforded. it made me vary happy and i felt loved.

The best material gift I received was three blank canvasses.

The best I gave was a handmade crossword puzzle, to my mother who is addicted to them but cannot find English-language ones (we live in a Spanish-speaking country, after all)

This Christmas was a good one...
No debt, right off the top of the budget & planned savings - this is the greatest Christmas gift to me!!!

Greatest gifts given was a welder & welding helmet to my husband Steve & a Wii for the kids!

I echoe Cheryl's Christmas present. That's what I have. No debt. 806 Fica score.
My wife and I told our 3 teenage boys not to give us any present this Christmas. Just be good and treat us real nice and do what we tell them to do. They did not dissappoint us. That's the greatest gifts of all.
