I saw this video in the internet and I thought I would post it here because I myself for the life of me don't do as the video suggested. Sometimes I use a knife to break the skin but this guy learn from the experts- the monkeys!!
-----------
I have a problem uploading the video.

Try this:

Open a Banana Like A Monkey on Yahoo! Video (http://video.yahoo.com/watch/5541397?fr=yvmtf)

Yeah, I posted this a few months back after seeing it on Yahoo. I was always taught to open from the stem-side. But honestly, the stem thing only works well when the fruit isn't very ripe...after that, it tends to just end up squishing the fruit and being a pain. The 'monkey' method is now what I use and works well for any stage of ripeness.

But how can you remember the monkey method if you are in a hurry? Think like a monkey I guess.

LOL yeah, I fall into my old ways when I'm not thinking about it and try opening the stem side. I'm guessing after long enough the monkey method will be a natural reflex for me...but not quite yet!
