Looks like December is my lucky month, 3 of my Bananas are flowering right now. I will be able to save 1 for sure the other two are going to be a little bit of a challenge. I am in Zone 9a and we get a late freeze so come Feb I will have to find a way to protect the fruit.

Congrats on the blooms! Too bad they couldn't have bloomed 4 or 5 months ago, right? Hope you get some fruit off there!
PS...How do you get away with the bananas growing over the power lines like that? Around here, they cut all the trees away from the power lines to prevent them from being damaged.

:D It was suppose to be a Dwarf Orinoco, but it got a little taller then I was expecting. But lucky for me its not touching the power line, but the cable TV did get caught in it.

LOL...key words here 'was supposed to be.' :ha: Doesn't look like it turned out to be very dwarf, huh? I dunno, though...can't really tell the total height from the pictures.
Either way, congrats!

Raja Puri finally got the bud pushed out all the way. My praying hands is moving REALLY slow the bud still has not poked its head all the way out yet.
