I found a tiny green spider that came in on my banana plant (I think). The size of it was probably no more than the width of a small pinky. It can jump really high for it's size, and pretty fast too. I ended up killing it, when I was trying to take it out side (amazing since most spiders freek me out.) and it bled blue blood.

Has anybody heard of a spider like this? If the pic comes out, will try and post it.

Kat

Edit:

Picture did not come out at all.

I saw that movie late at night, and I did not get any sleep for the rest of the night.

Aracnaphobia!? Awesome! Sweet movie! My pet tarantula Luv'd it too :) !
If it was a green lynx spider or a cucumber spider, then it wasn't poisonous. In fact, I've never heard of a poisonous green spider, yet. Is possible though. Here's a link with all kinds of info on spiders:

One really awesome spider is the Banana spider. Banana spiders are yellow and the 2 different kinds look about the same. The North American one (Nephila Clavipes) is fairly harmless but the central and south American ones (Phoneutria) have a venom like that of a Black Widow spider. Here's the Banana Spider:

Hope this helps :).

Phoneutria don't make webs and make the black widow's venom look like dog drool. They look nothing alike and reside no where near each other. Phoneutria:

The spider I saw looked nothing like those spiders, nor was it anywhere close to size.

I've also seen the pictures of the Green Lynx Spider, and it's about the same green, but did not have thecolored legs or size. It's possible that it might be a baby Lynx Spider. Does anyone know what the baby looks like, or have a photo of it.
