This time last year we had already had hit the 30's the last three days of October even reaching 33 on October 29. In November we had already broken record lows and had quite a bt of frost and even a freeze on Thanksgiving Day. We were a lot colder the first two days of December then we have been this year and even hit 32 on the 3rd.
This year has been warm and dry except for a little bit last week. North Jacksonville at the airport has already seen 32 I believe or close to it, but all the way down here at World Golf Village, just south of Jax, the coolest I have recorded is 43, twice.
No Hibiscus flowers have been damged yet and no need for any protection on the really tender stuff. The Banana's leaves still are in great shape and one is even fruiting.

Hibiscus cannbinus is still blooming it started on October 1, so it has been blooming for 2 months and 1 day. I guess it keeps going until frost? I assume it will naturally stop blooming.

My favorite Banana the Rojo Banana, I love it, so beautiful and fast growing.
