Just got back in town today, so I had to take some pictures of the latest fruit bunches! That's how I get through being out of town all the time, pictures! It's starting to cool down a little here now, and the growth rate has tapered off a bit also. Can't wait till next summer already, when all the plants will have bunches on em.The Manzano produced 10 hands, but I didn't want to get on a ladder to count the Golden Pillow. And a new bunch on the 3640 is starting to open. I'm hoping none of the new varieties produce during the winter months, about half the time when they do, the fruit have an off taste. Here's a few pictures:

Had my first bunch or Golden Pillow this Fall. They were quite nice in flavor, and as smooth as cream in texture.

Believe me, I know how you feel. I was driving through snow 2 1/2 days ago, and couldn't wait to get home!

Yeah, I work offshore and work 28/14, so I am always amazed when I get home in the summer. My wife has been after me for awhile to move down your way. I worked in the Caribbean for 3 years and miss it alot. Anyway, I am so envious of those photos and keep us posted.
