Congrats, Cheryl!!! Looks like you have some nice aloe saponaria. I have had this particular aloe for several years now, but only in pots. I took the plunge this year and have several outside in my new xeriscape beds. I don't hold out much hope for them overwintering, but I won't know til I give it a try. Suppose to be hardy to 8a, but we'll see. I also have acquired two more aloes that are supposed to be just as hardy, if not hardier. One is aloe polyphylla, which to me is one of the most beautiful aloes there are. Here is a link to info about them:

The other aloe I am trying the aloe aristata, which is native to South Africa, I believe. Here is a link to info on it.

Best of luck with yours and let us know how they do for you if you decide to plant them outside!!!
