Just out of curiosity how and when did that happen?

Just out of curiosity how and when did that happen?

It's mainly due to attrition of the CRFG membership. The CRFG has a few strong chapters remaining in temperate locations and some aging web pages but no interactive resources. Bananas.org "active" members now exceeds the circulation of the CRFG publication "The Fruit Gardener" and includes fruit growing fanatics from just about every corner of the globe. I have also noticed that a large number of CRFG and NAFEX (N. American Fruit Explorers) members are also participants here. Bananas.org is just a better medium for exchange of information.

The CRFG and NAFEX do not have a method (for example, interactive website) that allows members all over the world to meet each other, provide timely responses to questions, or a database like the Wiki here that allows members to update articles as needed.

There is no way in the CRFG to enable this sort of exchange of plants and friendship:

Thanks Richard.
It wasn't a contest to supersede them, but its great to see us growing nevertheless.
