My mistake was not to check the name before I posted his name but as soon as I posted I checked and found out you posted it before so I immediately delete my post. Next time I'll check first before I post. I usually check first since Patty remind me of double posting but this is the first time I did not check and you GOT me right away. After Morgan Fairchild posted then sunfish posted Matt Perry & realized it was wrong & then posted over it, You posted "what" but then responded w/ Peter O'tool & it shoulda been started w/ a 'C' first name. Read back, & if I'm wrong you can kick me in the BUTTUCKS :)

If it does, I'll delete my below post.
The name of the game is: The Celebrity Game! (or anyone famous you can think of, past or present)
To me Celebrity is an actor or Actress usually in the front page of People's magazine or TV or movie personality. Then it adds anyone famous you can think of , living or dead. But a character can qualify if it is famous like Felix the Cat or Micky Mouse. This is my interpretation as per author's intention. My two cents worth. If anyone disagree let us know.

Just to clear up about whats techincally allowed, any famous singers, actors, actresses, ect is definately allowed.
Originally characters werent really vaild, but since we are already past 2,000 posts I guess I can let very famous characters slide, but they have to have a last name! For example Tom from "Tom and Jerry" cant work because he doesnt have a last name. Mickey mouse can be accepted though. But dont pick a character that no one knows. I cant accept magazines, books, and shows because that would be too easy :)
Dont forget that anyone historically famous (like christopher columbus, harriet tubman) is allowed too. Actors whom have passed away are allowed and so are famous TV personalities but they cant be from local stations, only nationwide things like:The Weather Channel, CNN, ect...
Good luck everyone, and I hope this makes it a little easier!

Something that would make it easier would be to ask that people wait at least 5 minutes before making another post.
Good luck everyone, and I hope this makes it a little easier!
I don't know that this makes it "easier". Your example of Mickey mouse is not very clear, I don't know that "mouse" is a last name. Jesus is obviously very famous but just because he didn't go by a last name as well you think he should be "disqualified"? Cher is another one that comes to mind. They don't have a first name or last name, just a name period.
Also, it's a bit late to make a statement like "I can't accept"....this is a community forum, after all.
One thing that would make it easier is if people would wait something like 5 minutes before making another post.

Benny, Racer X is a character from the Speed Racer cartoon series. How dare you question my vast knowledge of useless entertainment trivia! :ha:
Racer X is a heroic, mysterious, flamboyant, selfless, sympathetic and often brooding soldier of fortune. His secret identity is Rex Racer, the eldest son of Mom and Pops Racer and the older brother of Speed and Spritle. Years before the start of the series, Rex had a falling out with Pops after wrecking the Mach One (the first car Pops ever built) at the end of his first race as a professional driver (seen in flashbacks throughout the series). Racer X drives the number 9 car, the Shooting Star.
Throughout the course of Speed Racer, Racer X's identity is constantly revealed to the audience in almost every episode he appears in, while Speed is unaware of it. Speed starts to suspect that Racer X might, in fact, be his estranged older brother in the "Challenge of the Masked Racer" saga (episodes 3 and 4) and finds out that he is near the end of the series in "The Trick Race".
It was acknowledged by both Pops and Speed over the years that Racer X was the superior driver of the two, and the greatest driver that they had ever seen, but Speed always vowed to defeat Racer X as the two vigorously competed. Speed was often suspicious of Racer X's identity and motives because Racer X would repeatedly, and inexplicably, sacrifice winning races to protect Speed from drivers and others who tried to harm him. The assistance from Racer X nearly always led to Speed winning races, while Racer X came in second place. Racer X always left the scene unnoticed, receding into his secret life.
Racer X, with Rex Racer's unmasked face exposed.
It was not until the episode "Challenge of the Masked Racer Part 2" that fans of the show finally got to see the face of Racer X. His face was shown a second time near the end of the series in "The Trick Race". In that episode, Speed finally gets a chance to ask Racer X if he is his older brother--only to be interrupted by a punch in the stomach. As Speed lies unconscious, Captain Terror, of the Car Acrobatic Team, soon recognizes the resemblance of Rex under the mask of Racer X. Racer X confesses that he is truly Rex. He then vows to quit automobile racing and becomes a full-time international secret agent instead. As he walks away, he takes off his mask and he tells the unconscious Speed that he will look after him wherever he might go. When Speed wakes up, he finds Racer X's mask on the ground beside him. He is finally convinced that Racer X is in fact his older brother.[1]

Now that we know that Racer X is a cartoon character & not a mag title, he was eleigable., except that he is not know to all - not popular. Too late to go back now (I think) but he can be used again since we didn't count him then.
