To be clear I'm not dictating anything, that's the last thing I want to do, I'm merely making an observation and voicing it.
My issue with multiple posting by the same user is that person can post many names really fast because he/she already knows what the next letter will be, which also seems kinda boring to me anyway. The fun for me is waiting to see what the letter is going to be and racing to find, check the spelling, search the thread to see if it's been posted and then post it before the next person does.
I've also found that when there are several people actively playing the game it gets too aggravating for me so I'll just post during the slower times. :)
Another thought I had is how cool would it be to see all the names posted by each member, sort of A master list if you will. Is there a way to search each members posts in one thread?

Mitchel, I agree. I think the first time I posted a multiple name, was when I was too late to get one name in so I had some fun and got another name to set it up so I could post the name I had really wanted to post. Just was trying to be a little creative like the flip flop thing. But then I did find my brain racing ahead and I'd post a name and think up another right away (it wasn't pre-planned in these other cases) and would just post it. But, without considering the intent, it does also lead to the kinds of problems we've had were it gets to be very difficult for someone else to get a name in, leading for more conflict.
I hadn't thought about that sort of a list, but it would be interesting. You'd come out on top on the race care driver list! ;)

This game should come with a warning--
CAUTION: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE
DO NOT "OPERATE" while drowsy or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or coffee.
Play time in excess of 1 hour may cause the following manic compulsive behavior; double posting, excessive use of search function, uncontrollable urges to edit or delete post, and impulsive urges to hammer your computer to a pulp cause it's just not fast enough.
STOP PLAYING when you notice the following symptoms: double posting; depressive lows when you're cited for repeats, and manic highs when you post a millisecond faster than everyone else on line.
POSTING A REPLY IS LIKE EATING PEANUTS--you can't eat just one, or two. Pop three or more at a time and pretty soon, you've got a mouthful of sticky mess. And, in clear risk of gagging.
So, ALL DAY TODAY, I'm off to the penalty box for the following offenses:
1) excessive jostling in unsportsmanlike attempt to control the board--e.g. same firstname/lastname letter, flip-flop firstname/lastname, illegal strategizing to block players with rapid-fire, consecutive posting;
2) excessive use of search function in brazen and annoying attempt to cite players for repeat posts;
3) excessive use of multiple windows for search, spell check, cut and paste.
I'm relegated today to the sidelines, and will restrict myself to occasional whoops and hollers for players on the field.
Go Team.:goteam:

Tony, you keep using this name "oops"
1. You should capitalize formal names
2. Your use of "oops" has not followed a post with the last name beginning with the letter "O", so such posts are not eligible.
3. You have repeated this name "oops" many times.

I only do a search if the name looks too familiar - like it's already been posted, & I'm usually right. No, I don't look them all up but I sure wish ppl would before posting. It's more fun & challenging when we don't use same names. Yesterday, Benny posted one that I posted 1 1/2 hours before & I remembered it :)

I admit I am guilty for reposting but I don't know how to do "Search" in this Thread. So to be on the safe side, I posted well known boxing greats yet you question me about it. I.E>, wladimir klitzco who is a current WBO champion. Why do you do the search first before you accuse someone of something that we were just making them up such as you accuse MJD of making names too. I think you have a sharp tongue or what.
