Just wanted to start a thread for people to post pictures of their cool rare plants. I'm always looking for ideas of new things to research or add to my collection, so if you have something unique, post a pic!!

I have two fairly young Jaboticaba trees. They grow VERY slowly, so I don't expect to see fruit from the larger one for at least a year. The berries have the texture of a muscadine grape, but taste much better. It will be at lest 5 years before I see anything like this:

I do not own the above image. I found it on the internet while searching 'jaboticaba' images.

My most rare plant, Aloe Suzannae. When I first bought it there were only 6 others on Google. Now there is loads but this is the only one i've seen in LA even with all the plant snobs here! :) It's greened up some since this picture was taken.

Here is another internet picture of one of my trees. Again, my tree is very young and will not fruit for at least another year.. but this is what I hope to see in a few years:

This is a 'cacao' tree. The seeds of these fruit are used to make commercial chocolate.

Awesome! What do they taste like? With a name like 'sugar apple' it has quite a reputation to uphold.

Oh wow they are incredible!!! As they fall from the tree they are at their peak and ready to eat and you have to eat it right there and then or else it gets mushy. The flavor is unique and delicious.
