The Manzano bloomed in mid-July (I think, I failed to write down the date). I'm assuming that this means it should be ready to pick in late December or early January - is that right? Yes they will take about 6 months to fill out and ripen. Just be carefull and either cover or remove the bunch if we are suposed to get any frosts. Even if they are not fully mature they will still ripen once removed.
