Default Re: Bananas are shriveling!

first off never transplant in the summer heat makes plants die you need to water (4 times a week)a bit more after a plant is moved its going to go in to shock so your going to have to give it a bit of help more water and protect from full sun until new leafs come out then slowly acclimatise it to the sun get some kelp extract this has chemicals in it that stimulate growth use a week solution half strength if the corms alive that will help after you replant a banana it has to grow new roots that takes some time Bananas grow new roots ever 4 months so don't worry but don't do the summer thing again spring is the optimal plating season this is true of most plant but not all

In summer heat its hard to over water a Banana whats your day time temps?
