It depends, if zou want to store them in temperatures lower and equalt to 10°C, no lght is needed, for temps of 15 to 20°C, some soil and light is needed. If you want to keep them dormant, then they won't need any light. Just be careful in teh spring then, not to burn the leaves. I would take your Siam Ruby in a pot inside.
