Great story Dan! My gosh, you poor thing... I'd be dead. Loved your anecdote LOL-- what I would do. Oh, I think I need 2 benadryl now thinking of it!
The time I really reacted was the 4th sting I ever got. They say that after 3 stings, you will develope a allergy - so be careful.
I was in my garden - barefoot, & I stepped on one -just barely stung my 2nd toe & within 5 minutes my leg was red & my tongue started swelling. E ROOM! Hives everywhere & could hardley breath. I thought I'd die then. Was horrible.
I WILL NEVER walk barefoot in my garden again! What kind of bee was this (the doctor asked)??? I didn't know. Anyone? I know it wouldn't have stung me if I didn't step on it.
