Beside that,
today was our hottest ever measured day in May, with 35°C!!!
At my house I had 32°C yesterday and today.
The same what you are saying happens in Ticino, the southern canton of Switzerland. There it is warmer than in northern Italy, because of the lakes!
Maybe similar to Croatia, or other regions along the northern mediterranean cost.
Temperatures fall only rarely below zero. No subzero days! The coldest nights are usually around -5°C, but not even every year. And that is only two hours from my place.
