My 'Siam Ruby' has also survived the winter and thrown several strong pups, growing fast now. This in a winter-shady area, under a certain amount of canopy. We had 24.1F for a low, 15 hours below freezing. Several other moderate freezes and a number of light frosts/freezes as well. The main stem looked somewhat solid close to the ground but doesn't appear to be pushing. But lots of pups.
