Default Re: Siam Ruby hardy to 22 F in Northern zone 8!

I've observed the same thing. I cut my pseudostem back on my Siam Ruby in the fall and brought it into the greenhouse. The greenhouse was plenty warm and wet, but it just floundered. All of the sudden, in the past two weeks, everything just kicked back into gear. The main pseudostem is pushing leaves again, and all the pups are moving again. Weird? Maybe something to do with the length of day?
